Our Partners
Our exercise physiology services include:
Initial Assessment
We begin with a thorough initial assessment where we discuss your medical history, previous injuries, and any illnesses that may impact your ability to exercise. We also talk about your personal goals, which can range from getting stronger to playing with your kids without getting tired. Health measurements such as blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen levels, strength, flexibility, and cardiovascular fitness are taken. Based on this assessment, we create a tailored plan and timeline to achieve your goals, providing you with a program to complete either independently or with our support.
Disability Support
Our programs are designed to increase independence and minimise the impact of disabilities, enhancing daily functioning and quality of life for individuals with disabilities.
Chronic Disease Management
We treat conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and osteoporosis through tailored exercise programs aimed at improving overall health and managing symptoms.
Mental Health Support
Exercise is an effective treatment for many mental health conditions. Our programs are designed to improve psychological well-being, reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety, and promote a positive mental state.
Healthy Ageing
Our programs help the aging population maintain strength, muscle mass, power, and balance, supporting older adults in living well and maintaining independence.
Injury Rehabilitation
Whether dealing with acute conditions (less than three months) or chronic conditions (longer than three months), our rehabilitation programs are designed to ensure a quick and effective recovery. We create sustained rehabilitation plans to manage and improve these conditions.
Group Classes
We offer the benefits of individual exercise physiology services in a supportive group environment. Participants can enjoy the camaraderie and motivation of exercising with others while achieving their health goals.
What is an exercise physiologist?
We use exercise as a treatment modality to help people live the life they want. Whether it's walking to the shops easier after a heart attack, using your arms better after a stroke, improving bone density as you age, or increasing independence to secure a job, we tailor our approach to your goals. Our exercise programs directly impact physical, psychological, and social well-being, helping you achieve a better quality of life.
Supporting NDIS Participants and the Community
We are committed to helping NDIS participants and the wider community by offering dietitian services that address specific needs, improve health outcomes, and enhance participation in daily activities. Our Exercise Physiologists work closely with clients to develop individualised exercise plans, ensuring they receive the necessary support to achieve their health and wellness goals.
